THE FORMULA
EXPLAINED
Every ingredient in Hydro Trapp has a reason. Every dose has a target.
This isn't a supplement designed to look good on a shelf — it was built to keep people alive in 115°F heat.
MOST DRINKS
ARE LYING
TO YOU
The average electrolyte drink was designed to taste good, not to actually work. They load up on sugar to mask bad ingredients, throw in a token amount of sodium to put something on the label, and call it hydration.
Here's the reality: when you're sweating hard — working construction, paving asphalt, grinding through a shift in 110°F heat — your body loses 900–2,000mg of sodium per hour. Most sports drinks give you 165mg. That's not a solution. That's theater.
We built Hydro Trapp because nothing on the shelf was built for us. People who actually work in the heat. People who can't afford to cramp up, fade out, or hit a wall mid-shift.
EVERY INGREDIENT.
EVERY REASON.
We use Pink Himalayan Salt because it carries 84+ trace minerals naturally, not the stripped, processed sodium in most supplements. 800mg because that's what research shows you actually need to replace — not the 165mg token dose you find everywhere else.
We use a dual-source blend — Potassium Citrate for superior bioavailability without GI irritation, and Potassium Chloride to also replace chloride lost in sweat. Two forms, one purpose: keeping you functional under heat stress.
Almost nobody replaces it. You lose massive amounts in sweat. We put 1,738mg in every scoop — derived naturally from both sodium chloride and potassium chloride — because your body's chemistry depends on it.
We use a premium dual form: Magnesium Glycinate for maximum absorption without the laxative effect of cheap magnesium oxide, and Magnesium Malate which directly supports ATP energy production during physical stress. This is the form that actually gets into your cells.
Most people know taurine from energy drinks. What they don't know is it enhances the effectiveness of electrolytes — it helps sodium and potassium do their jobs better at the cellular level. 1,000mg is the clinically studied dose.
We sweeten with Ono Sweet™ — a 100% natural sweetener blend with zero glycemic impact. No sucralose. No ace-K. No artificial dyes. No Red 40. Just clean, smooth flavor that lets the electrolytes do their job without sugar interfering.

The Honest Take — LMNT leads on sodium (1,000mg vs our 800mg). We lead on potassium, magnesium, chloride, taurine, and price. No product is perfect — but this is how we compare, straight from the labels. You decide what matters most for your body.

IT ACTUALLY
TASTES GOOD
Most high-electrolyte drinks have a problem: they taste like you're drinking out of a salt shaker. Too harsh, too metallic, too much. You gag it down because you have to, not because you want to.
Hydro Trapp is different. We spent serious time dialing in the balance. The sodium is there — you can feel it working — but it doesn't punch you in the face. It's just right.
Mix it cold, shake it up, and what you get is crisp, refreshing, and actually drinkable — even when you're not thirsty. That matters. The best electrolyte drink is the one you actually finish.
in a boardroom.
It was built on
black asphalt
at 115 degrees.
I spent years working asphalt paving in Phoenix, Arizona — one of the hottest cities on the planet. Every summer, the temperature on black pavement would hit 140°F+. You'd sweat through your shirt within ten minutes of starting a shift.
The stuff we were drinking wasn't cutting it. Sports drinks with more sugar than electrolytes. Water that passed straight through because there was nothing to hold it in. Guys cramping up, dizzy, or hitting a wall that had nothing to do with effort — just dehydration and electrolyte depletion.
I started studying hydration science. What does the body actually lose in extreme heat? What forms are most bioavailable? What doses actually move the needle? Every number in this formula has a reason — and that reason came from working in conditions most supplement companies have never experienced.
